El viceconsejero de Turismo del Gobierno de Canarias, Ricardo Fernández de la Puente Armas, la directora general de Ordenación y Promoción Turística, Rita Hernández, y la gerente de Promotur, María Méndez, junto a técnicos de Turismo de Canarias, han mantenido varias reuniones en la segunda jornada de celebración de la World Travel Market con el objetivo de fomentar la conectividad de las islas.

Entre las citadas reuniones destaca la mantenida con compañías aéreas como Air Berlin y Condor con el objetivo de potenciar la conectividad con las islas, en particular La Palma, así como el incremento de frecuencias, informó el Ejecutivo regional en una nota de prensa. En este contexto, el viceconsejero de Turismo, Ricardo Fernández de la Puente Armas, aseguró que el Gobierno de Canarias tiene claro los objetivos de esta nueva edición de la World Travel Market de Londres.

Finalmente, el presidente del Gobierno de Baleares, José Ramón Bauzá, y el director general de Turismo de las Islas, Jaime Martínez, visitaron el stand de Islas Canarias en donde mantuvieron un encuentro con el viceconsejero de Turismo del Gobierno regional, la gerente de Turismo de Canarias y la directora general de Ordenación y Promoción Turística.
