México.- Seguridad fronteriza, migración, comercio, agua y educación centran la agenda de la V Reunión Interparlamentaria México-Guatemala, prevista para hoy y mañana en San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, al centro de la nación.

La reunión incluirá también asuntos de cooperación en educación, entre ellos programas de becas e intercambio de estudiantes; mientras en los aspectos culturales el énfasis estará en promoción y protección del patrimonio.

Por la parte mexicana el encuentro será encabezado por el presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Francisco Arroyo, y la guatemalteca por su homólogo del Congreso de Guatemala, Pedro Muadi Menéndez.

Mexico. - Border security, migration, trade, water and education focus the agenda of the V-Guatemala Mexico Interparliamentary Meeting, scheduled for today and tomorrow in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, to the center of the nation.

The meeting will also include issues of cooperation in education, including scholarship programs and student exchange, while the cultural aspects the emphasis will be on promotion and protection of heritage.

For Mexico the meeting will be chaired by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Francisco Arroyo, and his counterpart Guatemalan Congress of Guatemala, Pedro Menendez Muadi.

La delegación del país anfitrión incluirá seis legisladores: dos del Partido Revolucionario Institucional; y uno de los partidos Acción Nacional, de la Revolución Democrática, Verde Ecologista y Movimiento Ciudadano.

Las Comisiones de Relaciones Exteriores de la Cámara de Diputados y de Relaciones Exteriores América Latina y el Caribe del Senad, sostuvieron un encuentro la víspera para perfilar la junta y trascendióque existen condiciones para el entendimiento.
