En su 13º edición, el Festival reúne directores de prestigiosa trayectoria como Margarethe von Trotta y a directores nóveles como Sarah Judith Mettke (TRANSPAPA) y Lars-Gunnar Lotz(CULPABLES SON LOS OTROS).

El estreno de HANNAH ARENDT, de Margarethe von Trotta, directora de innumerables films como ROSA LUXEMBURGO y LA CALLE DE LAS ROSAS, es una de las primicias de la programación. Como todos los años la selección cuenta con un título imperdible para toda la familia: LAS HERMANAS VAMPIRESAS, de Wolfang Groos; con el documental SPEED: EN BUSQUEDA DEL TIEMPO PERDIDO, de Florian Opitz, y la sección de cortometrajes NEXT GENERATION Short Tiger 2013.

Entre las películas que participan este año del Festival, veremos nuevamente a actores como Alexander Fehling (protagonista de GOETHE, proyectada en la XI edición del Festival) en el filmCOSTA ESPERANZA, de Toke Constantin Hebbeln; a Matthias Schweighõfer (actor de FRIENDSHIP, proyectada en la X edición del Festival como el protagonista de CAIDA LIBRE, de Stephan Lacant. THE WEEKEND, de Nina Grosse, cuenta con la participación del incomparable Sebastian Koch, a quien viéramos en LA VIDA DE LOS OTROS, de Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck.

In its 13th edition, the Festival brings together directors of prestigious career as director Margarethe von Trotta and novice like Sarah Judith Mettke (TRANSPAPA) and Lars-Gunnar Lotz (GUILTY ARE THE OTHER).

The premiere of Hannah Arendt, Margarethe von Trotta, director of many films as ROSA LUXEMBOURG and ROSES STREET is one of the first fruits of programming. As every year the selection has a title must for the whole family: Diggers SISTERS of Wolfgang Groos, with the documentary SPEED: IN SEARCH OF LOST TIME by Florian Opitz, and NEXT GENERATION short film section Short Tiger 2013.

Nuevamente el Goethe-Institut nos acerca otro título destacado del cine mudo alemán: BERLIN, SINFONIA DE UNA GRAN CIUDAD (1927), de Walther Ruttmann, que será proyectada, como cierre del Festival, con acompañamiento musical en vivo a cargo de Marcelo Katz y Mudos por el Celuloide.
