Quito.- El 18 Festival Mundial de la Juventud y los Estudiantes será un espacio para articular las organizaciones juveniles de Latinoamérica y apoyar el proceso de la Revolución Ciudadana en Ecuador.

En la actualidad avanza la fase preparatoria de ese evento, sobre la cual conversó con Prensa Latina, Hanoi Sánchez, secretario general de la Federación Mundial de Juventudes Democráticas, y aseguró que se está en condiciones de tener un buen festival.

Del 7 a 13 de diciembre venidero la ciudad de Quito acogerá a cerca de 12 mil jóvenes, cinco mil de Ecuador y unos siete mil de todas partes del mundo.

Apuntó que con la convergencia aquí de múltiples juventudes, sobre todo de América Latina, se estará dando continuidad a la integración que se promueve a nivel regional y que tiene expresión en la Comunidad de Estados de Latinoamérica y el Caribe (Celac).

Quedará fortalecida, además, la lucha por la paz y la soberanía de nuestros pueblos, afirmó.

Quito. - The 18th World Festival of Youth and Students will articulate a space for youth organizations in Latin America and support the process of the Citizen Revolution in Ecuador.

Resaltó el trabajo del Comité Preparatorio Nacional de Ecuador, que articula junto a los Comités provinciales una agenda única a partir de decisiones tomadas en las reuniones internacionales de organización de esta cita, que se celebra desde 1947.

En la actualidad los jóvenes ecuatorianos se preparan no solo desde lo logístico y organizativo para una exitosa fiesta juvenil internacional sino en formación política, pues como país sede tiene una responsabilidad enorme de ser los embajadores de la Revolución Ciudadana y los procesos juveniles que se realizan en este país.

"Y como región también somos responsables, pues desde aquí hay que fortalecer los procesos de unidad que se han gestado en América y el Caribe", expresó Luisa Pazmiño, presidenta del Comité Preparatorio Nacional de Ecuador.

Añadió que desde las localidades se ha generado el debate político en torno a las problemáticas actuales que atañen a los más jóvenes ecuatorianos y sobre cómo contribuir al desarrollo de este proceso revolucionario.

Abordan también otros temas sobre el derecho a la educación, de los jóvenes trabajadores, del medio ambiente, los derechos humanos, tema de género, entre otros.

Sánchez comentó detalles del programa que seguirá el evento mundial y apuntó que el 7 de diciembre será el acto inaugural, aunque ya desde el día 6 sesionarán seminarios, conferencias y talleres con temáticas como la lucha por la paz y la soberanía de los pueblos, el de los derechos al trabajo y las agresiones imperialistas a nuestros países, entre otros.

Durante los días de Festival se generarán debates ya más particulares de cada región y se espera el intercambio, por ejemplo, sobre el proceso de paz en Colombia y la reivindicación de su juventud.

Informó que la Organización Continental Latinoamericana y Caribeña de Estudiantes (Oclae) prepara el tribunal antiimperialista, el cual se realiza, ya casi que de forma habitual, los dos últimos días del Festival.

Explicó que este deviene espacio de condena desde aquellos países que han sido víctimas de ese sistema, aquí expresan sus demandas a partir de las agresiones sufridas.

El 13 de diciembre será la clausura del Festival Mundial de la Juventud y los Estudiantes en su 18 edición, pero además será el día de Ecuador, para el cual los jóvenes de esta nación se preparan.

Sobre los planes a nivel internacional, refirió Sánchez que la tercera reunión se realizará del 9 al 11 de septiembre en Nueva Delhi, India, durante la cual se consolidará todo lo relativo al programa del Festival.

Quedará constituido el Comité Organizador que a partir de octubre deberá estar en Ecuador para de conjunto con el Comité Preparatorio Nacional culminar los preliminares de la celebración, indicó.

Asimismo, se encargará de controlar y ejecutar la movilización internacional hacia la sede, la ciudad de Quito, precisó.

Estamos como federación en gira por diferentes países en proceso de articulación de los grupos regionales para organizar las movilizaciones al Festival y además promoviéndolo, dijo.

En América Latina participaremos, en Nicaragua, del cuarto encuentro internacional de juventudes de izquierda, ya hemos estado por Colombia e iremos a Brasil haciendo otros recorridos, anunció.

De acuerdo con su criterio, América Latina tiene un peso importante en este Festival por ser la región sede, por lo que también se visitará Venezuela, donde se efectuarán dos eventos importantes: el aniversario de la juventud del Partido Unido de Venezuela y la juventud comunista que realizará su XI Congreso.

Visitaremos Chile y Argentina como parte de lo que se hace para fomentar el proceso del Festival, informó y agregó que en más de 100 países se crearon ya los comité preparatorios nacionales y en muchos ya se articulan para el desarrollo de la cita.

El magno evento juvenil estará dedicado a la figura del Comandante venezolano Hugo Chávez, a luchador ecuatoriano Eloy Alfaro a Kwame Nkrumah, líder del panafricanismo ghanés, este último como puente de imbricación y solidaridad por haberse celebrado la cita anterior en África.

Consideró que en lo adelante el trabajo se irá intensificando y se conformarán las delegaciones, lo cual deberá estar adelantado para finales de octubre.

Quito ya se alista para la más grande fiesta juvenil y estudiantil mundial, para lo que de conjunto se trabaja entre las organizaciones y las autoridades, resaltó el dirigente internacional.
