Ayer, martes 11 de Febrero, en el teatro Presidente Alvear, se realizó la función para prensa y famosos de “Mireya, un musical de Tango” de la dupla del musical argentino Cibrián Mahler.

Muchos famosos se hicieron presentes en la platea como Mora Godoy, Patricia Palmer, Laurencio Adot, Alejandro Paker, Fanny Mandelbaum, Mirta Wons, Juan Rodó, Estela Molly, Miguel Habud, Jorge Jacobson, entre muchos otros, que ovacionaron de pie el primer gran musical de tango de Pepe Cibrián Campoy y Ángel Mahler.

Es la primera vez que Cibrián - Mahler escriben una obra costumbrista y con música de tango: “Mireya”, basada en un personaje mítico de la cultura porteña. Cibrián decidió hacer su propia versión haciendo de esta, su historia, un típico melodrama en donde la heroína, tal como se acostumbra en este género teatral, es perseguida "hasta el catre". El espectáculo cuenta con los protagónicos de Gabriela Bevaqcua, Damián Iglesias, Leandro Gazzia, Martín Repetto y la actuación estelar del primer bailarín de Tango internacional, Esteban Domenichini, que triunfó en “Tanguera” y en muchos otros musicales de Tango que recorrieron el mundo.

El musical producido por Ángel Mahler, Julieta Kalik y Santiago Zenobi se presenta a partir de hoy con funciones de miércoles a domingos en el Teatro Presidente Alvear.
